Well, the tree didn't leap out in front of you. If the accident was on your shoulders, you're just going to have to bear the expense yourself and learn that next time, you need to stay on the road.

It is sad that when someone is in an accident , and it is obviously their fault (I doubt the tree jumped out in front of you) and thay think they are entitled to, or are looking for a way to recieve money for it. It is stupidity like this which causes Insurance rates to go up and sheister lawyers wallets fat. Why don't you just stand out side a convenient store and beg for money. It is the same thing.

if you had full coverage on your car, through your car insurance company, you might be able to collect from them, but if the accident was your fault, especially if nobody else was even involved in the accident, then you most likely wont be able to collect any money from anyone.

if your injuries are truly severe, you might be able to apply for social security. but thats about your only option.

If the tree ran out in front of you, you might be able to sue it or its owner. Otherwise, you'll get your medical bills covered by your insurance company but that's about it.

Contact your insurance company for possible no-fault or medpay coverage for your injuries depending on your state. You most likely have one of these coverages on your policy.
