Give your lover a dozen roses -- and do it with a creative twist. Give eleven red roses and one white rose. Attach a note that reads: "In every bunch there's one who stands out -- and you are that one."

Get your partner a wristwatch. Inscribe it with: "I always have time for you."

Write your partner a love letter or poem on one sheet of paper. Glue it to a thin cardboard, cut it up into puzzle-shaped pieces, then mail all the pieces. Or, mail one puzzle piece per day!

Does your partner love M&M's? Fill a one-gallon glass jar with them as a gift.

Visit a karaoke bar and surprise your lover by getting up and singing "your song" to him/her

Slow-dance at a restaurant -- when there's no music playing.

I give her a slow sensual massage followed by a nice hot cuppa and some real conversation as a massage does not have to lead to sex.I give her a gentle foot massage whenever her feet and legs feel sore and tired.I run her a very nice scented bath and put her favourite music on in the background.I cook meals for her and try to tend to her feelings the best way i know how.I take the time to listen to her and to her wants and needs. But i must say that she is there for me whenever I need her too.

Mr. Chivalry says, "I do things for my wife all the time.

Our "relationship" anniversary was on a Wednesday. My wife thought I didn't put any thought into it because of the way I said it. She was upset. But I couldn't tell her what I was doing for her. She's nosy. But anyway, we decided to get other gifts and go to dinner. Instead, I brought dinner to her apartment. She gave me the gift she got for me. She got me platinum sapphire earrings. Loved them. My gift was a basket I made from scratch, called the "Annipack, or Anniversary Pack." It had a card that told her to enjoy it, because it doesn't come around very often. The Annipack consisted of a few things such as, a ring, some of her favorites from B&BW (Bath and Body Works) and a card. She opened everything and she finally read the card. I told her how I felt about her being the best thing that ever happened to me. The last statement read, "And on that note, I would like to ask you a question." When she read it, I got down on one knee and proposed. Also I put the ring on her finger. She thought I was joking until I did that. She cried. We were happy. We couldn't get enough of calling each other fiancee.

One day, it was a Tuesday by the way.

I showed up at her job, with lunch. I also had two roses for her.

Later that day, I had White Roses and Stock Mathiolus flowers delivered to her.

Also, I wrote a letter that said:

To my lovely wife:

Someone asked me: "If you would describe your wife, what would you say?" And I thought about that question for a moment. Finally I came to the conclusion that there are a lot of things I could say to describe you. But at that moment my exact words couldn't surface. So I decided to let this bouquet of Pure Elegance do the talking. This arrangement of White Roses and Stock Mathiolus flowers tell stories of your beauty and purity, priceless virtues that neither Silver, nor Gold will ever exceed in value.

I love you,
Your husband

This past Valentine's Day.

I gave her a rose and a card. The card read (paraphrasing) :
I bet you were expecting a card of words saying how I feel. I bet you were expecting clever phrases. But I decided to do something different. There is a gift in the trunk of your car. Do not open it until you park, at home. I trust that you will heed my word if you care about me."

The gift was a package containing an umbrella, a rain bonnet, and a note. The note read: Whether or not you listened is irrelevant at this point. You will need these tools for the journey ahead. So put on the rain bonnet, and don't worry embarrassment.

When she got upstairs, there was a note on the door that read: "Thank you for heeding the instructions, but now you are about to face bad weather so pop open the umbrella. You are about to showered......"

When she got inside the apartment, There were two fans creating a wind effect, lots of silver and blue confetti to symbolize rain, and a note that read:

"You are about to be showered with gifts!!! Each room contains a puddle, and behind each puddle lies a gift that is relevant to the room. The weather wasn't as bad as you thought it would be, huh? Happy Valentines Day Baby, Your Husband"

So, each room had a puddle design and a gift.

Living room - choice bewteen bowling and the movies

Living room 2 (table) - Bouquet of roses and another flower (I forgot) with a poem writtem by me

Dining room - a choice among ten restaurants (reservations already set)

Kitchen - Scooter's card (she loves chai)

Bedroom - Roses everywhere, red and white sheets, end tables were covered with red tablecloths, red and white balloons, candles

Closet - cash gift to go shopping where she so desired

Bathroom - Gift basket with Bath and Body Works smell goods

Guest bedroom - Gift Basket with home scents like incense, scented oils, and Glade Wisp

Guest bathroom - cash to get her hair, feet, and nails done

This is a question I placed on Y! Answers because I wanted opinions on my next big surprise.

If your husband decorated the place Asian, had an Asian cuisine prepared for you, by candlelight, gave you a jasmine bubble bath, actually washed you, by candlelight, and gave you a full body massage, on orchid petals, of course by candlelight, how would you react? What would you do afterward? Of course I know what reactions will happen, but I just want to hear some personal opinions from you ladies."

uhhmmm... this is from my own experience. during my college days, my boyfriend(and unfortunately, he is now my X) would always wait for me after my class since his class finishes first. he promised that day that he will walk me home. at first i don't want to because his house is very much far from ours so it would take long for him to come home. but then he insisted so i said okay.. later that afternoon, he approached me and said that he had an emergency appointment to his dentist so he cant accompany me home. it was okay with me and he said that in return, he will just come early the next day at around 7 am since my class starts at 7. knowing him, he can never do that since he hates waking up early.. he even dropped his morning subject that starts at 7 because he is having a hard time waking up.. so the next morning, i was surprised that he is there at our hang-out place in school waiting for me.. and yes.. he came a little earlier than me.. for some people it may be just a small thing but for me, it was the sweetest thing my "x-boyfriend" ever done for me..
