Neither. Here's what will happen on August 12, 2006 -- when it actually happens this way, will you revere me as a prophet? ;-)

At various times depending on longitude, the earth will rotate so that the sun shines on part of the world and it will be morning. People will get up and go to work. Some people will die in a military action. Some people will die in accidents. Some people will die of old age. Politicians will make grand statements, about half of which will be outright lies. Children will be born. The earth will continue to rotate until the sun is no longer in the sky, people will go home from their jobs, some will fight with their spouses and break up, some will be very happy. Most people will go to sleep and get ready for August 13, 2006...

And we'll do it all over again.

My suspicion is: neither.

The passages used (out of context) clearly say that there will be NO SIGNS AT ALL of the return of Christ (which doesn't have anything to do with a nuclear war).

However, even though these people will be shown to be frauds (Deuteronomy 18:22), people will still continue to follow them.

I don't even think they truly believe it. On the one hand, they state that the end of the world is a week away; on the other hand, they're asking for money and offering subscriptions to their paper.

Not my birthday, but must be somebodys.. There are no fixed dates, but the end certainly is near. Don't worry about a specific date, it could come at any time.. But not specifically nuclear war, the beginning of the great tribulation is what is next on the prophetic calender..

Did you know that the 7 year peace treaty spoken of by Danyl was signed and the House of Yahweh warned you of this you'll find the time line of this on the HOY website.

Actually if you read it, which I didn't, but I did skim through it, you will see the date they predict is Sept. 12, 2006 not the 12th of August. Sorry to disappoint all of you who had other plans on that date....feel free to go about your business. As to the one who prophisied generalities for Aug. 12th you may want to revise your date by a month.

If the end of the worlders see death and destruction often enough -- as they've been doing for centuries -- sooner or later they'll accidentally tag a time when some fool drops a nuclear bomb. Forgetting all the thousands of times they were wrong, they'll quickly proclaim "Told ya so."

the sun will rise then it will set..that is the only thing that is truly guarenteed. I looked up my horiscope for that day and it says that I will be consumed by a nuclear holicost and my loto numbers are 1. 23 ,35 38, 45 , 46

I will wake up late and not get out of bed until 1pm as that is a Saturday. Then I will probably clean my house or work in the yard or going hiking or something. Maybe I'll even eat a couple times.

That's what'll happen for me. How 'bout you?
