If you don't like something, fix it the best you can and move on.

Try distraction. If you think you are ugly...you will see ugly. Try something completely different.

Focus on something you can change. Chances are you are just obsessing and you are average looking just like everyone else. So focu on your fitness or your diet or your education. When it comes down to it...I would rather be ugly any day over having a bad personality or being angry. See your looks as a gift...good or bad. Change your perspective and focus on change.

I see myself as fat very easily. On those days I actually look fatter in the mirror. Funny thing is that I am not fat at all. It is all in the perspective. So get rid of the mirrors. Figure that people will like or dislike you regardless of how you look. I mean do you pick the people in your life based on their looks. I doubt it.

Now be a good friend to others and look away from yourself. Even if you find your mind wandering...just move on to better things. Afterall, looks are so temporary.

Society has always put way too much emphasis on looks that it is down right disgusting to me. The true beauty of someone is not their outward appearance, but rather is found on the inside of each person. Did you know that the most "beautifulest person" on the outside is the ugliest person on the inside? Did you also know that the "ugly ducklings" of society are the most beautifulest person on the inside? In today's society it shouldn't matter if a person is tall or short; heavy set or thin; purple or polka dotted! We are all human beings with feelings and talents and personalities each to their own right.

Focus on the good points within yourself. Acknowledge your accomplishments you've made and feel good about them! Don't focus on your bad stuff, focus on your good stuff. Feel happy for who you are! Don't listen to society and think you have to be a blonde, blue eyed, Barbie doll! This is crap and besides striving for something like that is smuthering who you really are on the inside.

Who tells you that you are ugly? Your family? Friends? Television? Ignore these people!!! They don't know what they are talking about!!! Once you feel comfortable with your own abilities and feel good about your own self then this will boost your own self-esteem, self-worth and you'll get to the point that it doesn't really matter what people think, it's what you think and feel that matters.

True happiness about your looks will come about when you stop comparing yourself to others.

Good luck and I hope I was some what helpful!

Just stop thinking about it all the time, you are not ugly you are beautiful, tell yourself at least ten times a day that you are beautiful and believe it when you say it, hope no one has hurt you to make you feel this way about yourself, just relax and ignore others hurtful remarks, they are the ugly ones for been horrible.

Stop being vain, most people aren't confident about their looks but no one should obsess on all that was given to you.
Work on your personality, that will shine through, make that your BEST feature.
Be thankful you have sight, speech, hearing, arms and legs.
Plastic surgery is rubbish, it makes you look more ugly and fake. Accept your human nature. No one is perfect and those who look down upon you solely by how you look are not worth your time.

I would say that each and everyone of is beautiful in some way. whether its inside or out. Learn to love yourself - look at yourself in a mirror everyday and say to yourself I'm not ugly! Become comfortable with yourself.

Focus on what is positive about yourself, others and life in general instead of dwelling on the negative. In a journal, write down as many positive things as you can think of. Keep it handy to read over, and continue adding to it.

sometimes it helps when u start looking at pictures of people who survived accidents... their faces are usually deformed.

have reconstructive surgery to "fix" all of the things you think are "ugly" about you. If you then still think you're ugly, you probably are.
