the problem is i was studying pharmacy but dropped out due to the fact I couldnt handle the pressure of being so far from home and the stress of the course itself. I Have already completed an intense 4year degree program and I think I just couldn handle the thoughts of that all over again. My health started to suffer and I was beginning to get severly down. Still, I regret giving up the course as I do believe I would thrive in the career. Can you please give me some advice? Im a bit lost in what to do from here..

Take some time to relax, recuperate and save up some money. Then seriously think about your ability to go through pharmacy school. If you think you can do it, but just need to destress first, then go for it because it is a great career. If you seriously think that you cannot handle the stress, then don't bother. Most pharmacy schools are expensive and if you fail out you will be stuck with a lot of debt and nothing to show for it. I don't want to sound harsh but I just finished pharmacy school and about 50 of 270 students failed last semester at my school. It is a tough program so only undertake the task if you think you are up to it. Good Luck.

If you were stressed out just from being away from home and the course work, I would recommend picking a different career. Being a Pharmacist is a stressful job, since somebodies life is in your hands as you are the one medicating them. Pharmacist and pharmacy technician have the highest rate of drug addictions due to the stress of the job, and easy access to narcotics.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND GO BACK TO SCHOOL, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO FINISH CLASSES AT HOME. I HAD TO DO THAT AT ONE TIME, I HAD SURGERY AND WAS VERY ILL. TAKE CARE! PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH.
