the problem is i was studying pharmacy but dropped out due to the fact I couldnt handle the pressure of being so far from home and the stress of the course itself. I Have already completed an intense 4year degree program and I think I just couldn handle the thoughts of that all over again. My health started to suffer and I was beginning to get severly down. Still, I regret giving up the course as I do believe I would thrive in the career. Can you please give me some advice? Im a bit lost in what to do from here..

why not finish your school either online or nearer to home? one thing you might want to do is remind yourself often that the time in school is just temporary and necessary to get you to where you want to be in life and well worth it. also check with the college to see but i doubt you'd have to do the whole 4 yrs. over again...and remember perseverance and hard work will pay off in the end. hang in there....

why not try the open university. they may be able to offer a course thats more suitable or even the same [i dont know i havnt checked this out] but i would say that the intensity of the course would be relative to the career. you could maybe try a course that leads you to a few more careers. you would need to consider the possiblity that if you cant handle the course, you mayn't be able to handle the career. determination is what you need though. check out other courses and give it some extra thought and make a well informed decision.

Pharamacists are rich and they can treat anyone like dirt and get away with it.

I think you made a mistake. But maybe you needed to study closer to home.

I would do ethnobotany instead. Its less stressful and you can work among natives to find cures to give to researchers or pharmacutical companies. This is what I am doing.
