If ALL the worlds religions are right and the rest of them are wrong, is it time to ban the external voicing of any religion? If you went to church or sat on a rug for your own benefit then thats fine. But to be allowed to argue about the unprovable in public?
If you need religion, why cant you just keep it to yourself?

And I dont want to BAN any religion. I just want it to be less competitive. Your faith should be between you and your god.
I like motorcycle racing, so can I come to your door and threaten you with unsubstanciated tales of a place you WILL go to if you dont??
Just keep it to yourself and everyone will get on better, see?

And then, if I feel drawn to a religion, I could go to them.

There are those who think as you do.
There are those who because of religious teaching believe that they are supposed to save people for Jesus.
There are those who just like a good argument.
There are those who think that they should wipe out any other beliefs but their own.
There have been wars because of religious beliefs.

You ask a pretty good question.

I can't answer you absolutely.
That is why I am on this forum.

First of all not all the world's religion are right.

If you are sick & I know a good doctor, would it be ethical to keep the information for myself? I guess not. So If I knew that you can have an eternal life & you can live happy ever after with the one who created you & loved you to the point that He incarnated in the flesh to show you himself & to die for you. Would I remain silent & let you go astray? It is out of love that people talk about Jesus.

It is like knowing the good medicine & giving it to you or at least give you the name of the doctor so you can be healed.

God bless you

Oh man. This would be such a good idea. Each person believes in their own religion and nobody forces any religion down anyone's throat. And no one should try to convert or evangelise another person. If you don't believe in God, that is your choice, too. At least, there will be one less reason for war and terrorism.

Different religions are nothing but different paths for the same goal of salvation. Each will do good by following the faith he wants without hindering another.

Absolutely not! Look at the last words of Christ before he ascended to Heaven..."Go forth and make disciples of all nations..." It's called the Great Commission. I understand that your question is directed to every faith, but to be able to share your faith requires that you discuss it with others. Perhaps what we should outlaw is the oppression of this discussion.

I don't believe religious belief's of any kind should be shoved down anyone's throat, however I do think people should be able to express their beliefs however they please. I think it's getting to the point in this country where the government wants to separate church and state so much that they are taking it to the extremes and kids can't even offer a prayer or word of thanks to God at graduations and stuff

b/cuz jesus christ put us on this earth to go out into all the worlds, the nations & preach the gospel. to share the good news with the lost.
to save people like you from going to hell.
to share the truth to the world. to let people know that there's a god that cares & loves them.
that god gave his only son, to die upon that cross for all us sinners. to forgive our debts, transgressions. that jesus christ shed his precious blood for us. to give us a choice to have eternal life in heaven. to save our souls from hell & satan.
that's why we can't keep it to ourselves. if we did, come judgement day: we'll be judge for not sharing the gospel with people. everyone or every person that is sent to hell b/cuz we didn't share the gospel with them, we'll be held accountable for & their blood will be on our hands. blood that can never be washed away. in no way, do i want that on me.
to share that there's hope, joy, peace, comfort in this lost, wicked, evil & corrupted world.

that's why !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to let u all know that jesus loves you.....
jesus is the way, the truth & the life/light.

You would fit in well in the Muslim country's that forbid conversions. Or in the communist countries that forbid freedom of the press.
In America we are granted the Freedom of expression.
