I have been tracing my genealogy for 7 years and I also help others on a part time basis. I find it very interesting from a historical perspective.

It is really enjoyable to trace ones' roots. It serves the purpose of knowing your ancestory from which village, city or town we have come from. The affinity to the place, people does not evaporate though centuries ago, several things have happened.

I don't know because my family tree history is few hundreds old. Before that we don't know where our ancestors were living. Jews now believe that we are one of their lost tribe. God knows. I know that our Ancestors from few hundred years were all Muslims.
