How often should you expect to hear from your new b/f?

If you have started seeing someone new how often would you expect to hear from them whether it be by text or phone?

I am a bloke, so here is a truthful bloke's pov:
- it all depends on the individual except if they are in love
- if they are in love, this will transcend all common-sense, all self-control, and they will be all over you (which is probably not your case, as you have both the time and the inclination to ask the question)
- if they want to take it slowly and steady, you will know, unless by chance your bloke doesn't talk much
- infrequent contact from your new boyfriend will mean either he is not interested but you are, either he deson't know he is interested, either he doesn't give a toss as he will try and sleep with as many women as possible or when he is tempted
Last bit of advice... unless your new boyfriend lives a long way away, he will want to see you - I'd measure this frequency rather than phone calls and texts as we aren't as good as you women at communication in general.

All the time, phone, text and meeting up. My boyfriend and I exchange about 40 texts a day and see each other every night after work. But this isnt for everyone, people have different ideas of how relationships work!

well he should want to call you ....and checking up on him all the time will just make him feel trapped...and if he doesn't call you then you prob should re think things because he isn't that into you. Most guys will try to not call you, but after a while dating he will get over it and call you more often. I would say though 1 a day unless he is on a trip or something then let him enjoy his friends.

Just started a new relationship & my man contacts me like 8 times a day, this includes text messages! I call him at least 4 times per day!!!

Few times a day. My boyf always sends me a wee txt just to say hi about 10 or so and then we chat a few times during the day. Let him txt first so your not running after him
