Just be honest and tell him how you feel.He will either like it or not but at least if you start the topic off then he should be able to respond with how he feels.If he dosent feel the same then all you can do is let go and move on no matter how hard it is.There is light at the end of the tunnel and openess and honesty will never let you go far wrong.Hope it all goes well for you :)

If that guy knows you, then the best way is it to go and tell him about your feelings and give him time for understanding your feelings. Let the feelings sink in and then both of you discuss about the future of your relationship.

real life story. this happened to me.
I really liked one of my best friends. one day i called her to see if she wanted to go to a movie. we sat together in the back row. (hint the armrests go up) in the begining i made sure i had some body contact (legs touching or 2 arms on the armrest) about 1/3 into the movie i slowly put my hand on my leg but close to hers. hopefully they will do the same slowly move your hand closer until they are touching. lift you hand up above the other persons slowly and if they are interested then they will open there hand and you can slide your hand into theres and intertwine ur fingers.hold hands for the rest of the movie. remember to let the other person accept every movement you make and dont force anything. let it flow.

Do you work with him or socailise with him a lot with a group of friends. If so tread carefully, if not just tell him. Men are pretyy much 100% useless at picking up on what women are thinking. Just say it at a time when you can run if he tells you he is gay or something.

To be honest at least you have the phone to hide behind he can not see your embarrassed when you do and chances are that if you have met on the net and your chatting on the phone he feels the same so go for it.

Don't tell him, you are just going to embarass yourself if you discover he doesn't feel the same way about you, if its meant to be then it will just work out somehow. I think its romantic for a guy to do that than if it were a girl.
