Tell him it hurt your feelings and you would like an apology.
I'm hoping it was a sort of diary that he didn't want or expect you to see, and it was unfortunate that you did.
Especially if your mother married his father somewhat recently, the boy's feelings are not unnatural. Just treat him as you would any other boy of his age whom you do not want as a boyfriend.

I would tell him how you felt about what he did. If after you told your parents what has happened and he continues to act this way seek out help from a teacher or a school councilor. Be very careful around him as he seems to have major problems and he most likely needs counseling. I hope this helps you.
