What do you think are the best/worst sounding regional accents in the UK and why??

The worst accent by far has to be a West country farmers accent, even smart people sound like dorks with that one. Like that bloke with the long blonde shaggy hair on C4, 'i've got a brand new combine harvester'.
Best accent - has to be Cockney, you can say a lot with without all the erm's erm's ( no offence scousers ) lol.

Hate the Manc accent and the North Welsh Accent (They sound so common).

I love the soft scottish accents and the South West Accents!!

I'm from Liverpool and some accents are so broad round here they are hard to understand! South Liverpool tends to have a stronger more gutteral accent than the North of Liverpool!!

Best accent- Hampshire. Worst-birmingham UK.

I love the Geordie accent but hate West Midland accents (mine included)

I h ave never been to the UK, but I love someone with a British, Austrailian, or Scottish accent. I also like cowboys with a Texas accent!

I love Yorkshire accents the best, especially West Yorkshire. I'm not fond of the Cockney accent.

Love Southern Irish and Geordie accents they have a lovely soft tone. Love my scouse accent.

Don't like Brummie or Manchester accents much sometimes can't understand what they are saying.

hahaha i bloomin love the irisj accents...(is that regional?) anyway....they are just so cool especially when they say "top o th morning to yer" that is just pure comical!!!!
And its the same with scottish accents as well....they are just the funniest people and if i was to come back as another person in a different i would definatly ask to be irish or scottish!!!!!! absolute awesomeness!!!!!

I love the Liverpool accent, or Scouse as we call it here.

I don't particularly like the Manchester Accent.

worst is a toss-up between Brummie, Geordie and Liverpool, best is a lovely soft Scottish
