I think there is a giant mirror just outside my window, and the whole thing is an illusion. Oh and I have lined my hat with tin foil to keep the waves out. They are trying to get me to watch ET on my plasma screen. And why do you refer to the sun as God? Everyone knows Phil in the park is God this week.

rotating toward? we are rotating on a slightly tilted axis but we don't rotate toward or away from anything. we orbit on an ellipse as well which is why we get closer and further from the sun at different times of the year. As for your hairdresser, why didn't they answer the question? I don't think they have a clue either. Finally GOD? Is he now located in the sun?? I'll alert the Vatican....You have a great day too! ;-)

The earth is rotation on its own Axis in a anti clock wise direction.. so that the rises in the east and sets in the west no matter where you are on its surface.
I'm sure your hair dresser would know the answer if you asked!..

The Earth is orbiting the Sun in a slightly off center path, it does approach the Sun during the winter in the northern hemisphere and receeds during the northen summer.

Both. You could really benefit from a basic astronomy class. Then you could enroll in beautician school.
