By planting more trees...........afforestation
By stopping pollution
By protecting the animals and birds...........i.e.......to prevent our fauna from getting extinct
By preventing destruction of agricultural land....
and By preserving and having good concern over our non-renewable resources.......
Its not enough just to see this answer
But U must also practise some of the possible measures tat U can take to protect our environment from degradation........

Quit 'Cold Turkey' using all of the abusive substances that are ruining planet Earth. We have highly intelligent people who can & have come up with effective alternatives. The governament needs to support those remedies & enforce them.

1 step at a time. minimize fuel burn by not providing parking lots for sporting events so all would have to go on bus.
eliminate the icon= nascar is a waste of fuel & fast growing "sport?" throw in all motorsports too.
we all must sacrifice & conserve to extend limited resources.
