I've been on record saying I will support creation "science" in school when it comes up with one real world cure. Like a vaccine against the virus "kind" (not specific virii, but all virii) that is 100% effective at eliminating any viral disease. With all the talk about irreducible complexity, surely they can find a critical mechanism in all virii that if knocked out would render the virus unable to infect a host.

How much theological research is coming out of the Centers for Disease Control? How many apples were on your peach tree in your backyard this year? How many rocket scientists work at the Mayo Clinic? How many English teachers graduated from MIT last year?

Why not ask something that makes sense? Why would Bible Colleges be working on curing diseases? That's not what people go to Bible College for.

And yes, the students get their money's worth.

Define useful, Their "research" is biased and thus geared to finding only what they wanted to find. Some times they get confused that this is how they operate but because they found what they wanted they are comforted that they are right. Thus their "research" is useful to them.

In reality there is a large amount of data generated by such collegues. And a few, not all actually have indeed been helpful in finding new cures. Mainly those collegues that focus on missionary missions. Because they bring back new ideas.

They are getting their money's worth becaue they go there for "Bible studies" ... if they wanted to go for scientific research, they'd probably go to a "research college' and if they wanted to become a medical doctor, they'd go to a "medical college" and if they wanted to become a... oh, you should get the idea by now.

But just in case you want an example, I'm pretty sure that Northwestern University, University of Notre Dame, Loyola University, and a few other schools like that have come up with an idea or two that they contribute to society...

Well, some evangelical preacher on TV figured out that AIDS began when a man had sex with a goat, as I recall. Would that count as a scientific discovery? I think some other TV gellie has meteorology figured out too -- e.g., deadly hurricanes happen because there are gays, and buildings collapse because of abortions.
