Im a widowed mum of three beautiful girls and started a relationship. All sounds lovely. so far..... This man tells me he has more to loose than me, if he stays with me, as his kids are grown and moved out etc.... and he still has a life while my life is a stay at home Mum as my children are 15, 8 and 3yrs old. In other words I have nothing too loose.
We have a wonderful relationship and he is a great person to be with but everytime I disagree or seem to have an opinion, this is the comeback I get.
What would you guys do in a situation like this?

What does he have to lose? You!! His kids are already gone and your kids aren't.... Hopefully that is what he is talking about...

Maybe since he don't want to lose you he won't disagree with you about things cuz "he has more to lose"? Just a thought!!!

I am not sure what you should do, but I would probably get out of that relationship. It seems a little one sided to me. You are offering him everything and he is holding back for some reason. You and your girls deserve someone who is loving, honest and willing to give his all.
I would let him go, if he didn't change. That is just my opinion. It's a whole lot easier sitting on this side of the fence. :) Good Luck to you and your girls.

Obviously he cares more about himself than you & your kids. Being a Mother of three young children, you need to find a MAN who will love you and your children. That guy might be a great guy, but it doesn't seem to me like he has your best interests in mind.

Tell him that you are entitled to your own opinion, and that you by far have more to loose, because you've got young children involved. Just agree to disagree.

I'd tell him his life isn't here, go find it somewhere else. He's got 4 directions to chose from, so hop to it and get stepping.
