My answer...I have no unearthly idea. I fell for my fiance because he was sooooooo smart! His intelligence is what attracted me to him! Smart men are such a turn on for me!! Then I fell in love with his words, the way he talked to me. He treated me with respect and cared about what I had to say and actually replied with more than "uh huh." I do have friends who still go for the jerks...but hang in there...you'll get a good girl. I promise!
Thugs gross me out so much! I can't stand a guy who "sags" his pants and wears shirts that could second as dresses...EWWWW!
I also think that nice guys are so sexy...a guy who holds the door open and let's us walk ahead of him...wow! You chivalrous guys are still around; there aren't many of you...but trust me...there are other good girls like me out there trying their damnedest (that a word?) to find ya'll too!!
Good guys are special...it takes longer for ya'll because you are picky and looking for the right girl...you don't want to fall for the wrong ones, so you're choices are also fewer which makes for a longer search! I thank God every single day that I have the man I've got. I always ask myself everyday how I got such a special person.
If a good girl isn't taken yet, she lays in bed at night dreaming of her Prince Charming to come and sweep her off her feet. She dreams about being in your arms and being held by you! She wonders how the first kiss will be, where, when... She wonders if he is really out there and what he will be like...
Girls want a guy who will take care of them...a guy who is stable- financially. A guy who can defend her...to anyone! She wants a guy who will let her cry when she's sad. A guy who will hold her when she's sick!
You keep being yourself sweetie...she'll come I promise!
I also think that meeting people on the internet...eharmony, etc. is perfectly ok! Sometimes Ms. Right isn't in your area! :) Good luck!!!

Even if your good looking, a nice guy is always great for getting advice about other guys. Not dating them, and its not always true that nice girls are always attracted to thugs because of the drama sometimes its because the thugs act like thugs in front of people but not in front of the girl. Like girls, guys also have a double face. Don't act any different, you'll find the right girl for you by acting as yourself.

Because the girls that are running to the thugs aren't always good girls...they are after the excitement and drama. Now do you really want a girl like that? It may be more difficult to get a good woman but in the end you will see that it's worth it.

And I kept thinkin' that it was a problem which only i had!!
It's my personal belief that not only girls but even boyz like 2 have fun with the flirty and bad counterparts, but do not worry, when it will come 2 settling down, geeting married, and having kids, the same girls would be hovering around u.
Even i'am not bad lookin', but u see i am a nice girl and that's the reason why even i have a hard time.
The ways of the world are such. I can understand how u feel.

Well you really have to step it up. If you act all nice than they cant see themselves with you because they need someone that they know will protect them. They need a man not a boy. The thugs look much more like a man and thats more attractive. Just keep your head up I would probably date you if you knew me because I like gentlemen and someone who will treat me like a lady.

Most girls tend to want the "bad boy" type, but at the end... the "nice guys" do end up winning 'cause usually the girl will eventually realize she has a great guy in front of her. You just have to be persistent & assertive. Don't give up so easily. Patience is a virtue!

in my experience, bad boys were all the fun.
i always enjoyed being with the bad boy getting into a little trouble. also sometimes it was i enjoyed it when they took control. i have know grew out of it and married a nice guy. and i have never been happier.
but dont get me wrong when i need a bad boy, i talk to my hubby and he make my fantasy come true.
so i would have to say, we like the danger, but it is a faze most women grow out of.

women like that bad boy type for some reason. I used to, but I guess I kind of grew out of it. Now I'm with a really nice guy.

I don't understand that either. They say they want a nice guy who respects them but so often its the Bad Boys they go out with. They like rebels, the tats, the leather, the saggin jeans and swaggering macho.
