How do I trace someone in the army whose been Iraq and may still be there? I don't even know if he's still alive. I was writing to him, using a 'bluey', but we haven't spoke in ages. I would love to get back in contact with him. Can anyone help?

Write to: Access All Areas, BFBS Radio, BFPO15.
Or visit them online at www.bfbs.com ; then go to access all areas where you can get a radio bluey played on air. they won´t give you details of how to contact him but they can give him yours. It might just be that he´s very busy, but I know BFBS can help you reach him.
The more details you can give the better, BFBS goes out to British forces all over the world and even if he doesn´t hear it I´m sure somebody that knows him will and tell him.

I don't really know how one would go about contacting an active duty soldier or whatnot...

but i sure hope your friend is alive and well and will continue to stay in touch somehow.

having his duty station and company would help be forewarned no information will be released by the military on any active soldier if you do know his company --battalion- regiment you can try to write a letter to them

if you know his name and rank and what regiment he is in then just go to the army and they should be able to tell you
