i'm a virgin. and i am with this girl, right? it is all innocent with holding her and stuff. but sometimes i feel like doing things for her. i feel bad thinking like this because i respect her and don't want to rush things but i just feel like giveing her the best feeling i can manage without actual intercorse.

is it bad to want to go down on her even though it is something i'm not in a rush for?

Yes. If you're not in a rush then it would be wrong. We read the same advice given to women on this site multiple times a day:

"If he loves you he'll wait. Don't let anyone push you into something you don't want to do. Wait- it will be better. You're virginity is the best gift you can give to someone and you only get to give it once. Don't let him pressure you and if he does dump him, he's not worth it. Wait until YOU'RE ready."

And I offer all of those words back to you. Just because you're a guy doesn't make the advice any less great, any different, or any less applicable.

Respect...means respecting her WISHES.

If a woman WANTS to go there with you... and you DON'T, that's more disrespect than respect.

Many men, especially younger men... have been taught to RESPECT a woman... with the implication it means: Don't try to put a move on her. That's appropriate if she's very young, or she is not INTERESTED in pushing the envelope on more intimate contact.

HOWEVER... GOOD communications, verbal and otherwise... will let you know if RESPECT means "No" or RESPECT means "YOU BETTER, AND SOON".

Before I knew this... I lost a couple of girlfriends... RESPECTING THEM. I later found out, that they moved on, because they were tired of waiting for what they wanted, and weary of throwing hints that were "IGNORED" to gain their respect.

Respect...is doing what's right for the individual you're respecting. Not necessarily NOT doing it.

How old are you? That has a lot to do with it. Don't rush into anything, remember you can get a STD even doing that. The girls above me are young and immature.

no...it's good that you respect her enough, but what i've learned (although it kinda kills the mood) you should talk to your girl and see what she's says. If you can't even talk to her you shouldn't even think about messing around with her.
