We have a lot of blacktop country roads here; they're in pretty good repair, but they normally have no shoulder, and no margin for error.
These roads are posted anywhere from 45 to 55 (!), and, because the area in question is rolling piedmont, it takes a little concentration to drive them safely.
I do the speed limit, weather permitting, or within a couple mph of it. And, this really pisses a lot of other drivers off. Sure, I pull over and let them around me, BUT: (here's the question): WHY is it necessary to fly 10 to 20 mph OVER the already rather high limit?
I see some spectacular wrecks out here, by the way.

OXYMAN: What, do you think current speed limits were set in 1880? I'll bet you're a lousy driver: careless of others, and convinced of your own immortality.
