Begin by carefully selecting a shampoo, a conditioner and a hair mask according to your needs and the type of your hair. Is your hair color treated or you have yr natural color?? Except from the shampoo and the conditioner a hair mask is essential and you can use it once or twice per week instead of the conditioner.

You can also buy a silicon based product for the split ends if you have which you can use after washing your hair.

Of course there is always the solution of a hair dresser. If your hair is long you can visit your hair dresser once per 2 months in order to have your ends cut. Through this way you can avoid too many split ends.

Try a very intensive conditioner, the type you leave in for an hour or so. If you dont want to use a bought one olive oil works wonders for damaged hair. However you will also need to stop doing whatever it is that is damaging your hair to begin with, i.e. blow drying, straightening and perming it. Also go to the hairdresser and ask for a cut that will make the problem less noticable.

For men, its easy - they just shave it off. For women, the best way to revive damaged hair is to go to a parlour every so often to get hot oil treatment. Either that or you get a really short hair cut and grow it back.

You can get hair masks now, like a face mask but for hair. Haven't tried them though.

I use Ozzies 3 minute miracle which is just a deep conditioner and my hair feels and smells so nice afterwards.
