no, dvd is like a vcr, just plug a set of audio/video cables into the tv with the right input setting on the tv. You cannot play a dvd through coax w/o a rf modulator which can be bought at walmart or wherever. Have fun with the 90's technology.

to watch a dvd you just need a tv which doesn't even need an antenna, a dvd player which comes included with a dvd cable port to attach to your tv and of course the dvd!

nope you only need a DVD player and the Audio Vid ports in the front of back of your tv.
