yes replace the sugar with splenda or other sugar substitute.
Be sure to check the ratio of substitute to sugar.

Sure you can. Splenda is made from sugar. You can replace regular sugar with Splenda. I do in baking and in everyday use!

Yes. I recently bought a jar of sweet gherkins that was marked "no sugar added" and the sweetener is Splenda. If Vlasic can do it, why not you?
