The DTI will only help you in matters wherein you have a legitimate complaint like if the seller is padding prices or using a broken scale that adds weight to your purchased goods. It can't help you however if what you need to learn is how to budget your money on buying healthy foods. What you need is either an accountant or a financial planner. But if all you need is how to do a monthly budget then try computer programs like Microsoft Money or Quicken which helps you keep track of your spending.

The Department of Trade and Industry has a help-desk/ department that takes care of consumers with complaints. Just make sure you have a legal complaint backed up with receipts, etc. How to budget your money in buying health foods..... or do you mean organic foods? There used to be a place in Makati City that sell organic food. But lately, I think they transferred to FTI. Call up FTI to ask when the organic bazaar is during weekdays and weekends.
