im getting over bronchitis and im still coughing up still even though im through the worst of it is this normal to get sore from coughing and what should i do to ease the pain it hurts when i cough not a dying
hurt eiether but it is uncomfortable

You can certainly make your muscles sore like this and even do more damage.I know a guy who herniated a disk sneezing.If it's just micro trauma it will heal in a few days max.It is always possible that it's referred pain from another region.If it doesn't go away just call or visit your doctor.Bronchitis can lead to pneumonia and pleurisy

Yes, this can happen, but as you say you are recovering from Bronchitis you should really have yourself checked out. The repetitive coughing is very hard on the lungs and respiratory system, allowing infections to develop more easily. Drink plenty of warm fluids to help ease your cough,nothing cold.

Yes. You've basically pulled a muscle in your chest wall.

Try taking some Ibuprofen or Naproxen. If cough syrup isn't helping, try a humidifier or sitting in the bathroom with the shower running only hot water.

Yep, your chest muscles can totally get sore from coughing a lot! Just take it easy, but you can't really stop coughing until it all goes away. So unfortunately you'll be sore for a bit. Sorry!

Some people can actually crack ribs from coughing no joke. See your doctor.
