I'll tell you why! The stop signs in parking lots are on private property. If that weren't enough, what most people don't know is you can not in no way get a ticket for ignoring any of these signs, simply because, they were not approved and placed there by the city council, therefore, not recognized by the city as a legally posted sign. How do I know this? I fought this in court in Austin, TX, and beat the bastards. Same goes anywhere in case your wondering. Don't believe me, ask a lawyer, not a cop. Cops think the moon is there jurisdiction...

Parking lot etiquette is voluntary, usually based on the moral values and temperament of the driver who offends. Most people have too much on their plate emotionally. Relax , life is meant to be simple. We make it complex.
