While growing up my aunt and uncle had a table like this. When not in use it looked like a nice buffet cabinet. When you opened the doors on the front you were able to pull out the table. Underneath there was storage for extra leaves and the chairs. The chairs folded up for storage.I can't remember for sure how many chairs there were but I would venture to say that there were at least eight. I haven't seen one of these tables in over 20 years. Does any one else know what I'm talkeing about?

That was a commonly produced piece in the '60's. I don't think it is still in production anymore. Check with some antique furniture shops. I think it was called a "Console Table" but I'm not 100% sure.

This is a rare custom-made kind of table/cabinet. I'm afraid that you cannot find such thing nowadays unless you order it (if you can afford to) or look in antique shops and galleries.

I went online 1/27/15 and found one on the Hammacher-Schlemmer website. The cost $599. The padded seat folding chairs are $149 for two

My daughter in law has one of these her mother gave her (probably purchased years ago) It has 4 folding chairs and is white. I would search in thrift stores and second hand furniture stores , you might locate one that way.

They probably still sell them althought I just have not a suggestion on where to look.
