13 years ago I was in a situation that assured me certain death. I had no idea how ready to die I was, but when that time came I was ready to be taken home to heaven. The Lord's will was that he still has work for me, so here I am. We are all given talents by the Lord to use for his kingdom work. In your daily routine everything you do can be done to the glory of God. He has given each of us different talents to use. Let's use them to support the spread of the Good News that saves the souls of our neighbors.
The reason why I am ready to die is because the faith that God has given me assures me that physical death will have no sting because Jesus has forgiven my sins and I will live with him in his kingdom. You can have this same peace and assurance because he forgives yours sins too.

I am ready for death any day the Lord calls me Home. He promised me all Eternity in Heaven, the day He saved my soul. I don"t believe anybody wants to die, but that is the one thing we all must face, unless Jesus comes back first. The main thing is, Make sure you are saved, and ready to go.

Yes, if one really desires to practice, there are techniques available to experience what death feels like, and when it comes, we can be ready for it.

It helps to have a spiritual perspective. Being Body mind and spirit, the thing that leaves your body is the spirit and mind. Prepare the spirit and mind for death and the body will follow.

Of course. But death is just a small vacation before the next incarnation... I hope to meet my old age in this life, but if I die earlier, I know: it was my own choice before this incarnation.
