the idea behind the islamic deity Allah seems to have been formed after the ancient moon Goddess Al-lat. This is what i have studied by reading arabic literature and even the quran. Quran very clearly links allah with the moon goddess.
in fact its good that muslims honor a moon goddess, but why do they behave in such a extremist manner?

Actually, you are really close. Allah was the moon god that is the supposed father of 3 goddesses called Al-lat, Al-uzza and Manat. They were worshipped as the daughters of Allah.
Muhammad needed the backing of the Arabs to fight his war so after he conqured Mecca, he kept Allah and threw out the other idols.
They found an Allah-idol in 1950 and it had the crescent moon on the chest because he was the moon god.

Actually, the extremests are following the Quran exactly as it tells them to. They are commanded to make war with the infidels and anyone who doesn't is considered an infidel himself.

It is the peaceful muslims who are the extremests. They are considered pacifists and infidels by the warmongers.

I couldn't say which group is the true muslim because I haven't studied the quran that much. However, what little I have studied, I'd have to say that the quran is a book of war and not peace if I was forced to pick an opinion.

Some would say that about the bible, but since that is my area of expertise, I can honestly say that is not true. It was true during a certain time in the Old Testament, but Jesus made it clear that the time and season for war was past and it was time to love your neighbor and turn the other cheek until He returns and the world ends.

Someone asked for Quran verses that talk about war. Here they are:
surah 5:36
surah 47:4
surah 9:19-22, 29, 41
surah 5:51 al hilali. verse 54, yusuf ali
surah 2:216
surah 9:29, 123

I am a muslim and for your kind information we believe in only One God and our God is not moon or some thing. If there is any resemblance with the word moon and the word Allah then it doesn't mean we say moon is our goddess. You have very poor mentality. Our God Allah is the one who created moon and even moon bends infront of Him.

Muslims are not extremists but we become extremists when some one like you tries to isult our Allah and Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).We can die for them.

Hence you are 100% WRONG

Read this verse from the holy Koran
"Among His Signs are the Night and the Day and the sun and moon. Prostrate not to the Sun and the Moon but Prostrate to Allah Who created them if it is Him ye wish to serve." (41:37)
So Allah is not the moon God, but he is the creator of everything

Because they're obsessed miscreants who cannot seem to accept the possibility that they are wrong. I take what is written by other people in books with a grain of salt. I look into my heart for spiritual answers. If you think that this means I don't take the bible verbatim, then you would be correct. The golden rule makes more sense than anything. Too bad muslim/islam folks don't seem to get this.

'nuff said?

People will not like this theory, but its not unknown.

It's actually common to draw such connections. Some believe that Yahweh, for example, is a reimagining of earier deities Yayash, Yaë or Yave.

Sorry, but this lie will not work. Allah is arabic for God, plain and simple. We do not worship themoon and had you REALLY read the Quran you would know this. Still want to lie? Ok, here's the verse.

[041:037] And of HIS Signs are the night and the day and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not yourselves before the sun, nor before the moon, but prostrate yourselves before ALLAH, Who created them, if it is HIM Whom you really worship.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion... Mine is that it's NOT good that they worship a moon goddess because that's simply WRONG...! They need to understand that they need the real God and that the only way to Him is through Jesus Christ...
The problem with Christians is they call Christianity a religion when, in reality, it's a RELATIONSHIP, people...!

It's not all about following a set of rules...!

When we believe in Jesus and believe in our heart that He suffered, died for everyone’s sins, and rose again, we're granted the right to become children of God... So, the way I see it, we have our Father who is in heaven (I prefer to call Him "Daddy"), Jesus is my Brother - as He said that whoever does His Father's will is mother, daughter, and brother to Him, and the Holy Spirit who finishes the work to be done in me as well as handles whatever tasks He wishes to accomplish through me... And there you have it...

As for why they behave the way they do, you'd best ask them...
