loving your self is probably the hardest and most important thing to do ..
whatever way you look at it we need to love our self and who we are
we cannot love others truly if we do not love ourself
we cannot love god truly if we don't love our self
how can we know love if we don't know what love is and the only way to know anything for sure is to experience it first hand
and even from a religious point of view .. shouldn't you love the person that god created ?
love yourself .. know yourself .. then others can know you and love you ( that includes god )
