I don't know what your situation is but in my opinion, no one should say that its "God's will" or "That's the way God meant it to be".... I think its bull.... when people say that. It's because they don't know the answer but they don't want you to know that so they say "it's meant to be that way by God". Don't get me wrong, I am a strong devoted Christian but I have come to learn that if you don't know the answer, just say it.... I don't know why its like that. Not everything is meant by God, but people will lay blame on God as a way to escape responsibility of there own misfortunes or failed destiny.
If you really want to know the answer to your question, you must go to someone that is knowledgeable... a person that can take you before God to ask him directly "Why?", I say someone knowledgeable because you need to open scripture and someone will be needed to translate to you, your answer. Preferably a Minister.

I wish you well and I hope you find your answer.

Sorry if it bothers you man. They are just lost, confused, lonely and scared people looking for someone to hear them, not just listen to them, but hear them. They are everywhere in this day and age. They exist because religion no longer fulfills the emptiness that plaques them. Psychology doesn't understand them nor can help them. Obviously they see something in you a spark of the Divine perhaps or maybe just a friendly smile. Don't let it bother you. It's a good thing.
ps they aren't demons sent by some long forgotten being.

I guess they have different belief systems to you then Brandon. some people believe in higher forces guiding them, and others don't.

If that is how they genuinely feel and they get comfort through it, is it harmful? Who can really say for sure, if it is them actually buing guided by a devine spirit, or them being delusional, or them just having a strong compulsion to contact you that they cannot understand? that being the case, they may look to a higher force by way of an explanation, even if only to themselves.

Christianity is God reaching out to people.

Religion is man trying to reach God.

Maybe the true God is reaching out to you.

He does it through people and through His Word.

I recommend that you start reading the New Testament.

Maybe you can recognize when Jesus is trying to reach out to you through another person if you start reading His Word.

Wouldn't you hate missing the visitation of Jesus in your life?

Open your eyes to the possibilities.

2 Corinthians 2:3,4

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Stop listening to the god of this world (you know who he is) and start seeking out the true God.

Faith is the key to approaching God. Believe and receive your sight.

Religious freaks. They'll even sit down and not work for a test and if they fail say that it was meant by God

They were sent by the devil. God will never just send anybody to you unless it is an emergency situation. If you interrogate these people you will probably find that their motives are less than honorable.

People of faith believe that God sets up "divine appointments". That means that God whom we are told in Romans 8:28 "works all things together for good" supernaturally oversees the lives of those people whom He has predestined to be a part of his eternal family and will arrange times and circumstances so that people of his choosing will meet up seemingly by accident but in reality it is to accomplish a specific purpose of God's will in their lives.

If you are not yet saved then these people probably mean that God is sending them to meet up with you as ambassadors of Christ to deliver unto you His calling on your life to come out of the darkness of this world and into the kingdom of light.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

When a person becomes a Christian through faith, they begin a life where God leads them into good works with eternal significance that He has prepared in advance for them to do by his plans and foreknowledge of what He is going to accomplish in and through their lives.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
