HIV will show up by testing and the results are about 95% accurate....This is serious, but other people can show symptoms of various other diseases and syndromes. This needs to be looked at by public health also to prevent the spread of a deadly disease.

I thought that if you had a HIV test you have to be re - tested again in 3-6months becuase the disease doesnt always show straight away.

If someone is HIV positive, it would have been diagnosed BY showing up on the test.
