part of the world controlled by spirits; part by science. Yet I can find people who say men become ghosts after they die.I am REALLY confused . SOMEone help!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly it seems as though belief in the supernatural is thriving, and quite probably becoming even more extensive as time goes on. You can easily see here in Yahoo Answers that people believe in all sorts of things from gods to angels to psychics to ghosts. Things are considerably better in Europe than here in the United States, though.

A more spiritual nature will eventually come into play in this world, but not before there is a huge depression in it. The coming of that depression is already evident by the fact that many people are turning to atheism. Science has always progressed in some way or another, but once we have become more spiritual then science will prosper even more than when we were not.

The world is turning AWAY from both, in the sense of what the average person believes in.
When Neitchze said "God is dead", he was implying that the concept of the humanities internal need for God had been replaced by science and technology. His prediction has come true.
But scientific discoveries have moved so far beyond the understanding of so many people that it is treated as some sort of wizardry. The expectations most people make of science is beyond common sense, so that it has ceased to be thought of as having any limitations.

Both have their place in the world. God created the world and it works in a uniform and orderly way (science). Much of the science we have come to take for granted is false but intellectuals will stick with it because it helps them dismiss the idea of God.
Their are real rules in nature that can be measured and understood and even used, that is called science. I also believe God banished fallen angels from heaven as well as satin and they are still around and active in the spirit realm.
Theories like evolution and string and others are still theories, much of the so-called science behind evolution is almost funny in light of present day science but it is still taught as science and for many fact.
The wisdom of man is foolishness in Gods eyes.
As for men becoming ghost, the word says to be absent for the body is to be present with the Lord (that I believe). I don't believe men become ghost in the way most people think. I don't believe in haunted houses, or space aliens.
I believe God created everything for mankind, the universe is here to support life, for exploration, earth is in the perfect spot to sustain life, not by accident but by design. We are in the perfect spot to observe the universe. It's all very finely tuned for us to live and grow and be happy.

science and spirit is actually working hand in hand with many facts about spirit being proven
i have worked and studied under such people and the facts accumulated do prove without doubt that there are paranormal events happening worldwide
there are ghosts , spirits , psychic abilities , and other previously unexplained things being rigorously tested and proven without a doubt
yes there are many many hoaxes and frauds out there and it is these people that are more commonly heard of through media
but the proof is out there if anyone cares to look

Definitely science. This science will take the world towards spirituality and not towrds spirits of any kind. Spirits are only imaginary.

People always want to understand the true meanings behind life and the universe. We look inside ourselves for our meaning. We look outside for why the world is the way that it is. Whether you are more scientific then faithful or more faithful then scientific, there will always be the unexplainable. That is why people have a faith in something bigger then themselves. That faith often appears to the unfaithful when trama occurs in their lives. Science heals it faith gets you through it. It all so connects us all. It's the zelots of any faith that seperate us.

It is turning towards science. It will always be that way. People think about the spiritual side only when they face hardships they really can't get out. This is my opinion.

Both. we are being divided. Yes they become ghosts but that's only if you are somehow clinging to this world. The choice whether whom to believe can be one or the other, i think both is the best answer but that choice is up to you.
