The real thing. High school is so much more than learning in the classroom. There is the social interaction, the music, the bonding, the patriotism. Definately go to a real high school. It won't be the best time of your life but it will contribute so much to your life.

i would choose the real thing because you wouldnt get the same atmosphere online, and you wouldnt meet people and make friends like you would if you did the online school. also, if you actually go to the school, you have a classroom and an actual teacher to help you learn, and to help you if you have questions, whereas online, you have to teach yourself everything, and that can be somewhat more difficult. i just think you would miss out on alot of the fun and benefits online. hopefully that helps. :)

There are advantages and disadvantages to both - But going to a physical school than going on line is better. Because human interaction is a lesson the computer cannot teach. Plus, the focus in classrooms cannot be monitored going on line. On line- you can't be sure who makes the assignments unlike in classrooms you can recite and give answers on the spot. What would you do if the lights went out? No classes on the PC because the lights went out? Its better to go to a proper school.

depending on the aptitude and attention span of the student, i'd go to real school so that a teacher can (hopefully) assess the student's ability to grasp the cirriculum at whatever pace it's being given to them at.

online school is fine for someone who is capable of accelerated learning, or perhaps needs to polish off a few rough ends. however, i think most kids think it would be easier, and would rather take the easy way out, if there was such a thing.

There you go. Everybody, including myself, vote for the real thing. But there is something that we don't know: You may have a very good reason to be considering an on line school. Then, it will have to be your decision.

the real thing definitely.. its much more confusing to actually study online than right there and then with the teachers in front of you to explain with i guess too much detail.. the horror!

well, one thing's for sure, Online HS don't have cheering competitions nor cool clubs like drama and glee club to join in! :D

It all depends on where you live... if you are at risk of getting shot then i would go online, but otherwise i enjoyed my high school years at school.
