they are super smooth and get hot very quickly...they do not catch the tiny folicles either because of the ceramic plates..if you're going to purchase some make sure you get them from a salon as they will demonstrate them for yu and give you some useful tips.

GHD's is just a brand name like NIKE and ADIDAS, the thing that makes ur hair so strait is the ceramic plates and the heat, iam a hairdresser and the straitners i use wer £30 they do the same job to my hair as GHD's do. Yes they are good straiteners, but seriously its just a brand name, T3's are another good one. but any ceramic hairstraitner will straiten ur hair well.

I have thick hair and have had many pairs of straightners over the years. Nothing has worked like GHDs, they heat up instantly and straighten so smoothly. Perfect!

They are good, but a lot of it comes down to a good advertising campaign! Also, you really shouldn't use anything that hot on your hair on a regular basis, even with protective products x

they are amazing! expensive but worth it - so much quicker than using other straighteners and they just make your hair look so much better. when i borrow other friends starighteners now it seems to take twice as long. i would recommend!

I think they get hotter than any other brand do, therefore straighten your hair quicker and for longer.
