I REALLY REALLY like a guy at work. He is charming, sensitive, caring, and leaving for college soon.. We speak often, and are good friends. I know that he will not go out with a girl that persues him, so if I want to go out with him anytime before he leaves.. I can't ask him out or even tell him that I like him, or he won't go out with me at all. How do I find out if he likes me, and hint to him that I'd like atleast one date, with out showing too much that I really want to go out with him; and therefor making him not want to.. ??????? (did that make any sense??)

You send an e-mail or a slip conveying indirectly your liking for him. Or, gift him something simple so that he talks to you before leaving. Then you can continue your romance.

I don't think telling him straight-up that you like him is gonna make him run. If it does, then he's a little weird. All you have to do it put it very lightly that you like him, and ask if he feels the same about you.

You can tell him without even asking for a date. If he likes you, then he will ask for the date. You can say something like:

"I know you're leaving for college soon, and I didn't want to let you go before I told you how I felt about you. I really like you alot.. ect." And just leave it there and see want he says. :)

Remember, dont mention a date! If he doesnt like being pursued, then asking for the date switches the roles of you being the guy. :P Good luck!

Just telling him how you feel shouldn't count as pursuing. He'd be a real nut job if he claims he doesn't like girls to tell him they like him. Good luck! :P

Are you absolutely sure you couldn't just ask him? You really wouldn't be pursuing him by doing that, just being honest and sharing your feelings. You may be surprised at what he would say back. Also remember that when he leaves for college, it may hurt the relationship....

Nope don't pursue tell him what you want and leave it alone, flip the script. Do not pursue let him know of your interest and then leave it up in the air. Your a woman right, you should be able to run him by now.

seems he thinks so high of himself but u say u like him.heres the deal, since his living soon, tell him u will miss his company and ask him if u can catch a movie, just for good times sake or anything that he likes, that way u will be close to him and found out how he feels,if he says no,to hell with him.
