Actually, the braces don't hurt when they're being applied. It's the brackets (the bands that go on the molars that basically anchor the braces) that hurt. At least, they hurt me! Everyone's different and everyone's pain tolerance is different, so something that I thought was painful may not bother you at all.

Getting braces does not hurt since but after a few hours, you feel the pressure of your teeth being pulled. But it's worth the perfect smile:)

Yes, not much if you take tylonol before you get them put on or tightened. It is a dull aching pain if you take medicine it just hurts very bad if you bite down on something hard. It does not hurt in the process of getting them put on or tightened but afterwards it does. Hope this helps.

i just got my braces on and the only thing that really hurts are your separators cuz they just stick them in though your teeth, but getting the braces don't hurt at all,
but umm i have these things on my molars so i wont bite so much cuz i have a huge over bite and those hurt

umm it kind of hurts when u eat well just at first

ummm rinsing your mouth with warm milk helps

or rinsing your ,mouth out with a cup of warm water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, before you eat!

No, not really, half of the time I don't even notice them.
They only hurt when you first get them on, or the first few times they are tightened. And unless you have a poking wire (I did once)
you won't even notice them.

I've asked my friends, and all of them said yes. They told me that it hurt for a few days after, but you will eventually get used to them, that is, until you get them tightened, then it starts all over again.

There will be a LOT of pressure, and you will ache. Take Tyelonol before going in. Trust me.

You'll make it. It's not like you're the only one going through it.
