NO! it takes more than a double income inorder to live happily and be well off. You might be earning so much as a couple and the marriage will be in shambles.
It takes love, trust, faithfulness, good communication, truthfulness and a lot more to keep a marriage alive and couples happy.

If the both of you are doing fine with all the finances, you don`t have to have 2 incomes. But you never know when something bad will happend and then you will need that extra money. It`s also good to have a little extra for yourselves as well.

Whether or not it's necessary it all depends on yourself and your husband's lifestyle and finances. Can you survive with only 1 person bringing the "bread" home? It's perfectly alright if 1 can do that but not alright when you have little mouths to feed etc etc.

Think about your finances and lifestyle before asking the this question.

If the income is enough to afford suitable housing and keeps food on the table, that should be enough to get married.

NO! but it all depends on what you want to achiev together! at times, it may require the woman to have a steady job and at other times, it may require her not to! there are separate instances for this though!
