,,Reg Yes she does require a visa, And yes she would have to get that from British embassy in Bangkok---- BUT BUT BUT, I am speaking from experience and it is almost impossible to achieve.
She can go almost anyware in the world exept uk. She will need a sponser and that sponser will have to provide details of where she will stay why she is going , all her past history and all the sponsers history and the sponsers present financial position .They do issue visas but very few and far between- It is a nightmare --but try you may be lucky--good luck-if you need anyanswers dont hesitate to e-mail me..

Absolutely she does require a visa and yes, the UK embassy in Thailand would be the place to apply.

If it is anything like the American Embassy she has to endure insults and abuse by American Consular workers who are extremely rude for no reason.. [ whether she qualifies or not ] - For most it is not easy to get a US tourist Visa... you may need to grovel.. good luck!!
