on the bottom of my foot, but on the upper half, my feet are cracking, i mean not normal cracking, but like knife slicing and one of them is a little deep and its hurts a little, i'm a very active person and have played a lot of sports, this thing comes and goes , my feet are opening up but it is also dry. i have an appointment with the foot doctor in two weeks, but i just wanted to know do anyone knows what this is? also i have spots between my toes and normally they don't bother me but if i rub between my toes, they will start itching real bad and hurt a little bit, but the itching is bad, but like i said only if i put my hands between them. is this some kind of athletes feet?

it sounds like athletes foot. try treating it with over the counter medication. the sprays work great. if it doesn't start to clear up by the time your appointment rolls around.. then it's probably something else.

As simple as it may seem, it could be Athlete's Foot. Buy some anti fungal spray, like Lotrimen, at the store and try it out. I'm pretty sure it will work. Also, try to wear sandals to keep your feet aired out and dry. Wash between your toes with soap and water (of course, wash your both feet, too) and dry them really well, then apply the spray. I'd be surprised if this didn't do the trick for you!

Happy trails!

Wow, I've never heard of anything like that, but it sounds REALLY BAD. Talk to the doctor ASAP, and maybe wrap your foot?

Good luck, and I hope you get better.
