When you have an opinion, and someone disagrees, how do you keep the opinion?

I mean in your own mind, not in a conversation.

Opinions are based on your beliefs. The only way someone can change your beliefs is by repeatedly bombarding you with information to support their beliefs. That's also called brainwashing or propaganda. It's what the liberal news media does to us every day. You keep your opinions by reinforcing what you believe with facts to support your opinions. You can also tell yourself that the person trying to change your opinion is an idiot. I use that here a lot.

If you truly believe in your opinion then I don't see how it would magically change.
