Mormonism
Jehovah's witness

I could go on and on.With so many religions to choose from and each one claiming to be the "right" one how can you know for sure which one is wrong? What if the one you think is right is wrong? How can you really know with certainty?Jesus believers say that Jesus touched their lives and they have been blessed.Mohammad believers say the same thing.Jews say that they walk with God.Everyone is right. So who is wrong?

I didn't add Scientology because I know that would be the first one picked and I wanted a more resonable answer.Everyone, well most everyone, knows that is a crock.

Technically ALL religions are the wrong one since they are all man-made. The exception is Christianity which is a way of life. Even that has many religions following it such as Catholicism, protestantism, Methodism etc (in fact all the 'isms'). Most believers in religion follow the teachings or writings of another man, long dead, such as Mohammed. Thus if they follow such teachings they are not following the words of God, which can be found In the Bible on the assumption that this is the divine word of God written through men. It is not necessary to belong to any of the religions or clubs that have sprang up around the Bible to follow it's teachings. However many people belong to these faiths because it is a comfort to them or they are born or indoctrinated into them.

I know you are atheist bec I have seen you around yahoo answers alot. I imagine the answer you hope to hear is that all religions are wrong. But that is not me. I have to say with complete conviction in my heart that any religion which does not include Jesus Christ, is wrong. I don't say this as a matter of personal opinion rather as from the bible. But I choose to believe the bible and am not brainwashed. No one forces me into Christianity. It's a choice for me.

Easter Bunny you are going to give fundies cardiac arrest.
This is according to others (not me entirely), you answered some:
Mormonism is wrong because Smith was full of sh*t.
Jehovah's witnesses are wrong because they think everyone else is a tool of Satan.
Christians are wrong because they say Jesus is the Son of God.
Islamists are wrong because Mohammed was full of sh*t.
Judiasm is probably the best because it is more a "way of life" rather than strict dogma. Still everyone else thinks they are wrong.
There is no empirical proof that any of these religions are "true". The rational answer would be everyone is wrong, and at best, there may be a creed-less Universal God common to everyone. Just no one has figured it out yet.

If I point one finger to any one of those, four fingers will be pointing back at my own belief. Religions are like mountain climbers where everyone goal is to reach God at the summit. Each religion believes theirs is the right way to God when in fact everyone is heading the right path. It is just a question who's religion can get straight to the fact(route easier to reach the summit) about God will be the first to reach there. The last one to reach the summit may due to series of violations of conduct such as, maybe unknowingly committed, idolizing modern graven images, repeated prayers, misinterpretation of their respective holy books, power play, etc.

I've been a Jehovah witness but left when I turned 22yrs Im now 46 my family still refuse to talk to me, my wife is Catholic i go some times to keep her company. But any faith, religion who turns their back on family or pretends to have one but cannot live by the laws of our own human selves then their is no religion that is the right one. believe in yourself and have your own religion where you wont be put under a microscope or be judged i'm an athiest but still say to my wife god bless you, because i respect her belief and faith. More wars have started by religion than any other cause so it shouldnt take you long to really realise that point, religion kills innocent people.

Call me crazy but to me there is no such a thing as a wrong religion. The whole function of religion is to transcend the adherent through contemplation and ultimately action. It provides an understanding of nature and of our human condition, as a way to relate to oneself and those other than us. If through any religion the adherent makes this transition bettering himself and ultimately society, then it's not false. What one is really talking about is the idea of the divine and their related scriptures as being right or wrong.
But really although it may motivate one towards these ideas, but whether it is YAHWEH or Jesus or Allah really is irrelevant; religion about transcending one to the pragmatic path of humanity.

that was a pretty negative approach there... but here's an answer: everyone is wrong...because 'religion' is not the answer my friend. Religion is man's way of reaching God. God's way is 'relationship'. Relationship with God is the answer. A relationship with God will be evident in a man's life through the lifestyle he has. Faith is the substance of things unseen and the evidence of things hoped for. A man's works speaks volumes about his faith. So, how can any religion claim to be the correct one if that religion includes in its rules and laws some form of discrimination and partiality towards other people. it is only when you love God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind and with all your strength that you are able to love your neighbor as yourself. how can you love God with everything that you are if you don't know him and have never spent time to seek him and know him intimately? it would be difficult to know God intimately because he is not human...but he showed his love by becoming human...Jesus. God made a way for us to be able to have a relationship with him through Jesus. when you have a real relationship with Jesus it is impossible not to have compassion for other people. A relationship with Jesus enables us to see others through His eyes...and not eyes of discrimination and adversity.

I'll not judge other religions but I can say that the religion that is not the right one is the one who does not confess The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit(The Trinity) and who does not observe all of God's ten commandments.

I don't think there is such a thing as a wrong religion. What is wrong, is trying to force the world to believe yours is the best by starting a Holy War.
