Me and my boyfriend get along really good most of the time, but he's not working and just hangs out on the comp. all day how do I get him to look for a job without hurting his feelings.

You need to sit him down and be straight with him. If he is not willing to go look for work, then you should leave..Tough love.

He needs a reality jolt: can't be done w/out hurting feelings, angeleyes. Sorry, but that's the deal. You gotta tell him straight out:" Get a job or I'm gone. Get out of this depressive funk, too. Love me, do you now? Well, pick up, find a job and prove it--now."
If he does, then you've done well--congrats. If however he doesn't get the message. Leave, move in w/ a friend or back to mom's. Play Joan Jett's song " I hate myself for loving you" and move on w/ life. That's when it's good to say "good-bye".

There is no better time like the present. You need to get him to commit getting a job or just tell him that his unemployment status is really bothering you and if he does nothing about it, you are going to leave him. In your own words you want a man who can take care of himself let alone you.

Some of the best motivation is if you yourself are in the work force. When you start o buy and own nice things competition raises its ugly little face and jumps in!

just try to show him the difference between working man and non working man.................... through samples from life with being all the time pushing on him, just make it while normal talk....
