I had a dob and love the sleek look. Mixed with a chubby rotty, I have no idea. The dob look may shine through with any luck.

The puppies should be primarily short coated because of the short coat being dominant and all pups will be tan-point except for certain mismarks colors/markings that can happen in either breed.
Other aspects such as temperament, size, build/structure, ear carriage, leg length, paw size, tail type, general outline and genetic health may differ widely between each of the puppies in the same mixed litter. The pups could be more nervous, shy, or hyper than the steadier of the parents. They will lose body mass since refined type is more dominant than heavier bone.
Each of the base breeds will contribute disease elements from their parent breed to the new mixture and they may also donate clusters of genetic code their own breeds that complete the cascade to form unique genetic problems in the mixed dogs. They may have a high likelihood of hip dysplasia and other crippling disease if bred from unscreened parents.
Canine genetics is fascinating stuff.

It would vary. Even puppies from the same litter make look different. Mixed breed dogs are sort of a shot in the dark, you never really knwo what you're going to get. For example, the pup may grow up to be bigger than BOTH of its parents!
I think that's what makes mixed breed dogs so fun - they are unique. You should get one from a shelter of course - www.petfinder.com

Cute, black with a brown muzzle...a bit smaller than a regular rottie, sometimes a more Dobbie snout and more slender body build.
