Dog foods are tested on who else but dogs. When a new gog food diet is being tested, it is ranked on the following parameters:

Willingness to let go of existing diet in favor of test diet (when both are made available)
Choice between two new diets (when both are made available)

The tests are conducted on groups obviously

Well if its new than theres never been anything before it but if its improved than there HAS to be something before it... so which one is it... maybe the dogs eat it faster than the last kind or they pick this flavour over another...

i once tried a piece of my doggy's kibble....omg...did that taste horrible or what....the bag says...it is made with real chicken....the whole bag didn't smell anything like chicken nor did the taste of it. i feel sorry for my doggy...but i still have to feed the food to him every single day.
