that is because in todays world all militant groups call themselves "Jehadis" and say that they are killing non muslims in the name of Islam.

I think the main problem is that the "terrorists" of the world are muslim fanatical extremists that put a very bad name on the religion, and also the main problem is that people have a superiority complex when it comes to religion. This is because most religions preach that they are the one true religion and everyone else should follow it, so people basically believe they are right and everyone else is wrong and never take the time to actually learn the religion, just basing all their knowledge on what their priest, pastor, etc. told them.
Kind of sad that all religions stress peace and unity, yet not that many truly follow it. From the pursecution of jews and christians in anchient times, to the crusades of the middle ages, to the pursecution of the puritans and quakers which helped the colonization of America, and finally to the extremist fundamentalist christians attacking abortion centers and extremist fundamentalist muslims like osama bin laden declaring a jihad on the western nations of today. People have always picked what pieces of religion to follow and rationalize away other parts that they are breaking. So religion, something meant to be pure and good, has caused so much pain in the world due to ignorance and stupidity.

Oh gee I don't know maybe that twin tower thing. And you surely can't say Muslims don't criticize other religions your trying to dispute common knowledge. I know every Muslim isn't a terrorist but the problem is a few million bad apples have kinda spoiled the whole bunch. Don't get me wrong I'm an atheist so all religions and there war mongering ways irritate me but I'm also an American and when my fellow countrymen are killed while living there lives like normal human beings with little or no interest in being involved in a war it hits close to home and becomes real personal. I also hear it said that Muslims don't do enough to speak out against terrorists. Even an American white power group spoke out against spoke out against Timothy McVeigh and ratted him out. We've heard very little from the American Muslim community since 911 but we've heard plenty from the terrorists. Am I ill informed maybe but I'm not gonna research Muslim doctrine especially when there are numerous sects who can't get along. All I know is the people we have allot of problems with right now happen to be militant Muslims.

I don't know; why do Muslims inevitably assume it is lack of knowledge when someone disagrees with them? Is this the assumption that if we knew, we would just HAVE to agree? But that's what the Christians do, too, and frankly, we who are not members of either religion get a little tired of standing in the cross-fire.
And I totally disagree that "you will not find any Muslim who uses bad words about any religion . . ." You don't think "Kill the infidel" are bad words, perhaps? And it is just plain not true that Muslims are taught to respect all religions and their worship places. I cannot see why you bother to lie about that, when the nightly news shows so clearly that it is not the case.

Sir, you have some very serious issues with your grammar syntax.
You have not spoken to or read ALL of any groups of peoples on this earth. For openers, you have NEVER heard from me before now, but you included me in your extremely negative question.
Have you met every Christan on earth? I would not have been offended if you had used the word, "Some".
Let me put it back into your face the same way. Why do Muslims deny Muslims females education? Why do Muslims force women to marry men that they have no feelings for? Why do Muslims teach hatred and ugliness to young children?
Why do Muslims not allow their Radio and TV stations to broadcast the worlds current events without government intervention? Why do Muslim leaders feel that other Muslims are so stupid and dumb that only the Muslim government knows what is right and good for all other Muslims to hear or see on Muslim radio and TV?
I do not believe that you appreciated my questions in the context that I asked them! Neither did I in the context that you asked yours. You do not know me, just as you do not know the thoughts and feelings of millions of other people outside of the Muslim world. You owe the readers of this forum an apology!

That's an unqualified generalisation! Are you sure non-Muslims ALWAYS criticise Islam without any knowledge? In your opinion, do you even think it is possible for non-Muslim to criticise Islam with knowledge? Or do you a priori rule that possibility out and conclude that any criticism of Islam must be done by ignorant people?

Why are you stereotyping a group of people? Not all Christians fit in the same mold, just like not all Muslims think the same way. Don't start something that you can't back up. I do not have a care in the world about other cultures and religions. I follow my own beliefs. That is what means the most to me.

I disagree with the last word which is ( without any knowledge) because they do have knowledge that is why they talk honestly.
Ter are so many people who studied the quran & the history & derived from their knowledge & their love to others they talk in the hope that people would listen & decide to be saved.
& no you are mistaken, there are hater & anger inside the heart of mopst of musleims towarsd any other oppisyte religion, read the history & learn about islamic wars & persecutions & you will know.

Law of averages I suppose. Most of the violence in the world today is religion based and Islam is involved in many of these. This is a generalised statement just as your statement that you will NOT find any muslim using bad words...I can show you hunderds... And I don't care whether all those bomb blasters and killers out there are using bad words or not...

Hey! I'm non-Muslim & I'm always sticking up for you guys! People are just humans anywhere in the world, some bad, but mostly good, irreguardless of religion.
Muslim-bashing is popular in the media, which makes money from advertising due to high ratings.
Islam has very good ethics, but like all religions, some people twist their religion to suit their own prejudjices.

I am a Christrian by birth. There were atrocites done in the past in the "Name of our Lord" None were right. None were justified.
I believe that all religions teach one basic premis - be good to thy neighbour. Unfortunately this premis has been side tracked. We all have to communicate. Respect each other - and our differences - be they black, white, red, green, purple...
Any God we choose to believe in asks us to do this at the very least.
