Is there really any reason for me to live?

Sometimes I wonder why I am even hear. Does anybody realli care about me? If so,why?

why do you think your life as meaningless. if you care others, they will automatically love you. the very purpose of living is to do service to others. show sympathy towards people who are physically as mentally challenged. make friendship with others. have positive out look towards life. you find life beautiful and colourful

I wonder the same thing... I guess it's just best to find things you enjoy in life... Sometimes I don't even want to live in a world filled with so much evil. But maybe helping others, knowing that you made a difference, will make you feel better.. Being appreciated is always a good feeling.. like when you help children they look up to you, or anyone, most people are really thankful to have someone care and pay attention to them. If you give to others I'm sure you'll also recieve the respect, attention, and caring that you want and deserve. There's always someone (more than that even) that cares about you, maybe you just haven't met them yet, so maybe get more involved in this world or activities you enjoy will allow you to experience and meet people with similar interests and feelings as you.. good luck! don't give up yet!!! I am sorry that you are not seeing purpose in being here yet, but I believe that we are not here for ourselves, and perhaps you are here, because you have something yet to learn. It is hard to see when you are sad, but don't give up. One thing is sure. The sun always rises, and there are beautiful things all around you. Instead of being sad, see what the mesage is for you, live by curiosity. And as you do so, absorb the everyday things around you. Do you like coffee? Or candles? Or soft pillows? Or puppies? The world is full of these things and if you keep looking for the big reasons, you'll miss all the little reasons that matter most.

Nobody can tell other people what are the reasons for them to live.
Six billions people on earth may have sixty billion reasons to live.
To live as a man is far different to living as a stone, a tree or a bird. Since man has the mind to think, he keeps on seeking good reasons to rise higher and higher in the physical as wall as in the spiritual worlds.
I have thankfully learned from Baha'u'llah two reasons for man's life:
1. To know God and to love Him.
2. To build an ever-advancing civilization.
There are innumerable questions to be answered concerning these two reasons. If you really wish to enjoy learning and living a meaningful and eternal life, please start seeking the Path for yourself.
Please think the unthinkable and rethink the thinkable.

That's a question for the philosophers. There is no concrete right or wrong answer to it, and really only you can decide if you think there is a reason to live. Some people might say family is a reason to live, but others might not.

I care about you. I don't know you, but I care whether you live. Everyone is here for a purpose and if you leave too soon, you'll never find out what great thing you're supposed to do. I'm sure there are plenty of people who care about you but you just dont realize it. I think we've all felt that way every once in a while. The important thing to do is focus on the positive, find something you are passionate about that makes you happy and go for it.

Sounds to me like you've fallen in with the wrong crowd since moving to New York. Try finding some new friends that don't confuse your sense of morals. Maybe you should join a church youth group. You know about God and you are confused about Sarah. Take a few steps back and look at yourself in the mirror and decide who you want to be and what do you want to do with your life.

everybody questions that man- the truth is you'll never know -

i personally havent killed myself yet, cus i havent yet experienced the greatest part of life yet- freedom,travel,family

if you have experienced these, then i guess you wont experience much better (i dont take suicide so strongly ;)

but make the best of life,do everything you wish to do, even if that means riding your bike at 4 in the morning in the pouring rain with just your underwear :P
that'll make you happy

in the religion IM in, theres no such thing as being punished for commiting suicide as your path of life has already been made, soo do what you wish

I personally dint know you but girl I am sure the people who do, care and love you!!!!!! I think we all have a big reason why we are here, we just have to find our niche! what makes you happy? I am going through alot now in my life but deep down i know I'm loved in today's society people are soooo busy and working there butts off that they might forget to say " i was thinking of u", or I love you", or You are special to me", its best to just talk to the people who are close to you and let them know that you are having a hard time in life right now- trying to find out what you truly want and need! I hope you discover the beautiful things in life use your 5 senses and enjoy what you can do with them , there are alot of people in life that cannot enjoy life the way they want to. I hope you the best and you are in my thoughts if that makes you smile!
