Why would this be the end times?

What makes millions of people believe that we are living in the end times? There have been wars before, and the middle east has been a hot bed of violence for some time now. There have probably always been "false prophets" (or there have been, and are, none.) So what could possibly give so many people the impression that the end of all creation is upon us?

If the prophets keep predicting the end of times, eventually they will be right.

The Bible still is the best book of prophecy around, and it says that the end times will be marked by a lot of things, among which are violence, severe weather, false Christs and false prophets, people losing natural affection, etc. But probably the most telling item is Israel! When Israel became a nation state again, that marked the beginning of the last days...And Jesus himself stated that the day of his return was "at the door" when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies... but the last days are not the end of all creation as you suggest. The 7 year tribulation period foretold by Christ will end in Christ's return to earth to set up his kingdom. That is when it will be the end for evil people, after which he will set up his throne and will rule from Jerusalem and the 1000 year millenium period will begin. He will be a benevolent dictator who will heal the earth and its people. His name will be one and all shall know him and there shall be one language then a pure language. He is Love personified, but he won't put up with any bull-pucky, no one will con him, he will rule with a rod of iron!

The end of all creation?

WE ARE PROMISED A SAVIOR, TO SAVE US FROM WHAT?
Souls were created in Eden, Souls have been born after them to die, the promise is for the souls to be resurrected after the end times of this world that Satan is in.

Personally I do not need an "End Times" focus to be religious, I'll let Jesus decide when he is coming adn leave the constant guess work to others. You should act a certian way because it is the right thing to do, not to try to get to heaven.

We are in the last days because we have refused to worship the One True God. That One is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and We should Praise His Holy Name.
But the devil and wicked men are creating false religions to lead away foolish women and men just as in the garden.

Religion is a man made thing(what ever it may be). Nothing is forcing Americans to do anything but the devil and weak mortals who want a feel-good religion that they can call a church is creating new churches and denominations every day.Arragance and Pride cause people to create a religious group that will glorify themselves instead of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that this was coming in the end days.
