I think it's a lovely name, although I don't like the meaning that much. I searched for it, and it means: "attendant at a religious ceremony". I mean, there's nothing wrong with being an attendant at a religious ceremony if its your job or something, but as a meaning of a pretty name such as Camille? I'm speechless. ;-p

I love it. Plus, I have a friend named Camille and she is great. So that makes me like the name even more. But, honestly, even if I didn't know anyone named Camille, I would still love the name.

It's a beautiful name. It reminds me of Brigitte Bardot who was named CAMILLE in Jean-Luc Godard"s film "CONFRONTATION" and how Michel Picholi cried out "CAMILLE..CAMILLE..." against a beautiful seascape.

I knew a Camille way back when. She was hot! She was a black belt and could kick my @$$. So could her husband.
