He tends to be so immtional at times, which I love b/c he is not afaid to let his true colors shine, but I wonder is this 'normal' in guys.

Everyone gets extremely emotional at times weather they admit it or not. The fact that you see this side of him means that he trusts you enough to leave himself vulnerable to you. Especially if he's normally a "mannly man" you could really hurt him with this so be careful how you recieve his emotion.

Perfectly normal, although some men think that it is a sign of weakness or a lack of masculinity to let anyone see them cry especially a female. A LOT of men were raised with the mentality that it is wrong to cry. Anyway, I've been dating for over twenty years and am with someone who is very emotional and it is nice to see that side in a man....shows that they are human and are in touch with their emotions.

It is OK, because that happens sometimes. The mind can play dirty tricks on men as well as women. He needs help changing his way of thinking though, because that is not any way to live. Being emotional is not a manly thing, but he may have some real problems inside his head that need to get worked out. Just be patient and encourage him to shape up. Good luck!

These are normal in guys but most of them refused to let the opposite sex or other guys show their soft side.. They feel it makes them weak.. Personally, I like those who can cry in front of me due to very heavy problems rather than those who acts all macho and tough but inside, really wanted to cry..
I think real men are those who can accept mistakes and are not afraid to cry and say sorry.. I appreciate such actions more.

guys have to put up a false front, if another male sees another male in this vulnerable state it can be a tool he uses next time he has a confrontation with this male so most guys do not show their real emotions in public! your guy is perfectly normal!

i really guess its not really normal if he cried everyday, but if hes crying for you or with you than its not bad at all
to me a guy crying is soomething that u dont see often, but dont let that change the fact that you still love him,

Nope it means he's a bigger man than most and it means he might have some hope of understanding what feelings are about and thats great.

nope real men cry in my opinion, if your guy breaks down often though, maybe he's got some kind of depression? it's very common.

one of my boyfriends used to do that. instead of my crying on his shoulder and him holding me. it was the other way around. i guess some guys are more sensitve than others. which is a good thing!
